St. Patrick's music ministry is fortunate to have Mr. John Venarchick sharing his experience as a member of the Schola Cantorum Princetoniensis as director of our own parish Schola Cantorum.

According to the liturgical documents of the Church, chant is to be held in a special regard; especially Gregorian Chant. The Schola Cantorum seeks to embrace this directive through the learning and performance of Gregorian chant during our weekend liturgies.

The Schola meets every other Thursday evening at 8 pm. We also meet occasionally on Sundays as the need arises. If you have a special appreciation for Latin, are curious about chant, or would like to learn more about this ancient and beautiful style of music, you are welcome to join us.
