St. Patrick's Parish is a Catholic Community in the Diocese of Scranton, Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Saint Patrick's is a welcoming Catholic Community in Milford, along the Delaware River in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are a growing community being located in Pike County which has the fastest growing population of any county in the state.

Saint Patrick's began as a mission of Saint Joseph's Church, Matamoras, PA. It was established a parish by Most Rev. William J. Hafey, D.D., Bishop of Scranton, in 1946. The first pastor was Rev. Vincent J. Mahon who had been pastor of Saint Joseph's. He served as pastor from 1946 until his retirement in 1972.

The original church was built in 1877 and was sold and converted to secular use when the present church was built in 1956.

Rev. Gerald F. Mullally became pastor on September 1, 1988. Since that time we have rebuilt the hall attached to the church after a fire and converted the rectory into the Father Mahon Parish Center with offices and meeting rooms. The former convent building was completely renovated and is now serving as the rectory.

Saint Patrick's has now embarked on the building of a new and larger church to serve our present and future needs. In 1956 when the present church was built the parish had only 70 families. Now there are more than 630 registered households and population projections suggest that by 2007 we will have grown to 850.

The theme of our building campaign is "Built on Faith." Our newly built church, dedicated on October 15, 2006, inspires a renewed community of believers committed to "knowing, loving and serving" our God.
