I was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, on May 11, 1950 to Joseph F. and Rosemary L. Horan Mullally. In my early childhood we moved to the Stroudsburg Pa. area where I grew up and finished my elementary and high school at Saint Matthew's school and Pocono Central Catholic High School.
I graduated from the University of Scranton and Saint Pius X Seminary, Dalton Pa. with a Bacholors of Science in Psychology. My preparation for the Priesthood was at Mary Immaculate Seminary, Northampton where I finished with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Theology. Bishop J. Carroll McCormick, D.D. ordained me to the Priesthood in Saint Peter's Cathedral, Scranton Pa. on May 1, 1976.
Following ordination I served as Assistant Pastor of Saint Ann's, Tobyhanna, Saint Mary of Mount Carmel, Dunmore and Saint Peter's Cathedral. I was the Chancellor of the Diocese of Scranton from 1985-1988 when I became the Pastor of Saint Patrick's Church, Milford.
I have one brother, Patrick, who is married to Barbara Barnes, and they have one child, Jack Ryan. And I have two sisters, Marilou, married to Charles Conklin. They have three children, Kate, Allen, and Patrick. And my youngest sister, Susan. who is married to Mark Holzner.
I live in Milford in a great parish of good and cooperative people, in the beautiful Pocono region of Pennsylvania. Blessed by God with a good and loving family, faithful friends and parishioners in an ever-interesting and growing parish.
