Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
Anyone interested in becoming a Catholic becomes part of this process, as any Catholic who has not received all the sacraments of initiation, Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconciliation. For Furthur information please contact Father Mullally at 570-296-7451
Baptism
Usually celebrated on the last Sunday of the month during the 11AM Mass. At least one of the parents must be a registered and practicing Catholic. At least one God Parent (sponsor) is required who also must be a practicing Catholic, 16 years or older and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Marriage
Couples contemplating marriage should notify the Pastor at least six months before the date of the marriage. This should be done before any other arrangements are made.
Confirmation
Confirmation is ordinarily celebrated by the Bishop every two years. Candidates must complete a two year preparation program and be at least 12 years old or in the sixth grade.
Communion to the Homebound
Communion to the homebound monthly by the Pastor and weekly by lay Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Contact the Parish Office to make arrangements.
Ministry to the Sick
The Anointing of the Sick is for the comfort and strength of those who are ill. When there is a need please call the Parish Office. If someone is homebound please notify the office so arrangements can be made for the reception of Holy Communion.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays
